Introducing the next generation in tissue reconstruction: Strattice™ Reconstructive Tissue Matrix. Building on the proven success of LifeCell’s flagship product, AlloDerm® Regenerative Tissue Matrix, Strattice™ Tissue Matrix is recommended for use in soft tissue repair where weakness or a deficit exists, including breast reconstruction and hernia repair.
Strattice™ Tissue Matrix is available in two versions: Pliable and Firm. Each has unique physical properties that may be more suited to support different soft-tissue repair applications and procedures.
- For Breast reconstruction, Strattice™ Tissue Matrix Pliable is recommended because it is flexible and easily contoured to “sling” expanders and implants.
- For Abdominal wall reconstruction, including ventral hernia repair and open trauma with use of early definitive closure, Strattice™ Tissue Matrix Firm offers additional rigidity and less stretch as compared with the Pliable version.
- For other soft tissue repair applications, surgeons are advised to select the version that they believe is best suited for the repair.
